This year would be bigger and better! We will have activities which will be held before the event, so if you're up for it come and join!
Here are the event that have been confirm.
HC2013 Countdown Art
Inspired by Comic Fiesta 100 days countdown, HobbyCon 2013 will have its own 60 days art countdown and those who submitted and chosen will be featured in this forum, facebook as well as in website.
Top 12 artwork will be featured in HobbyCon 2013 Calender Merchandise with of course, Your name and your website / blog so that you are properly credited. You'll also get a copy of the calendar
Bookings of slots will only open in 1st June 2013 till August 31st. (So start planning)
Artwork submission deadline is on 31st September 2013.
Submission Guidelines:
1) Size: A4 (2480px X 3508px // 21cm X 29.7cm // landscape or portrait) , coloured, 300dpi resolution and in JPEG high quality format
2) Save your artwork according to this format: Day*SlotNumber*By*ArtistName* (e.g. Day30ByMagion)
3) Your ORIGINAL artwork must be related to HobbyCon and definitely must be done by you.
4) You can book maximum 1 slot from Day 60 to Day 1, which is based on first come, first-served basis e.g. If you choose "Day 8", it will signify that there is 8 days left till HobbyCon. Once booked, you have to be committed and not allowed to change. All names/slots booked will be displayed here.
5) Bookings of slot should only be made in this forum and in this thread. If you want to book, type "Nickname_Day(#)" e.g. Magion_Day30 from 1st June - 31st July 2013.. Again, FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.
6) Please be responsible. We will not remind you your deadline. If you don't submit in time (31st August 2013), your artwork will not be published in any of our online medias.
7) Email your submission to contact@hobbycon.my by 31st August 2013 and please include your following details when submitting your artwork. We will only display your Nickname and Personal Site for the public to see. The rest are strictly for contact purposes only.
i) Full Name (Follow NRIC/Passport)
ii) Nickname (Work will be credited with this name)
iii) Age
iv) Gender
v) Email
vi) Website or gallery, eg: Deviantart (If you don't have any, it's fine)
vii) Mobile Contact Number
8 ) NO Foul Language, NO Hentai, Yaoi, and Yuri or whatever related to 18++. Keep in mind your artwork will be posted in a public website, so respect your art and yourself.
9) Submission Deadline is 31st August 2013.
10) Artworks not meeting the requirements above will be forfeited and our decision is final.
11) You give HobbyCon full, non-exclusive rights to use your submission on materials published by us. You still retain full ownership of the artwork.
Art work Guidelines:
1) Artwork must be based on HobbyCon Mascot, Adam & Eve. For your information, Adam and Eve will be HC permanent mascot starting 2012. Their personality details will be up soon.
2) You will need to put the DAY of your choice from Day 30 to Day 1 in your artwork. You can choose to put the word 'day' or not, as long as the number is clear AND at least ONE of these word(s): "HobbyCon 2013" / "HC2013" / "7th & 8th Dec". It's up to you if you want to put more or all.
3) Submit 2 artwork. One is with the word in instruction number 2, another is WITHOUT any words/dates/numbers (just in case you are selected to be in HC 2013 calendar)
4) You may include your artist signature on your artwork.

- HC Organisers deserves the right to amend any guidelines / rules at anytime.
- We may add more artwork/days to 60 days or even 100 days instead of 30 days if this project is well received from the crowd.

ADAM
-Adam's bloodline is meant serve and protect the king. The king has passed away now is serving the princess.
-A gamer.
-Brave, random & cares about his outlook all the time.
-Charges head first into anything he does.
-Loves a challenge and sometimes end up taking up task more then he can handle (and ends up getting saved by Eve) :P
-Kind hearted person.
-Loves big guns, big swords, big armor, big, big, BIG~!!!
EVE
-Comes from a royal family
-Tries to be lady-like but becomes tomboyish when annoyed.
-Witty, kind, smart & a master tactician.
-A great master of disguise (can be mistaken for other "characters")
-A great singer
-Loves high tech machines and gadgets.
-Knows a little magic but prefers not to use it.
-Loves to dance
